Take a look at the following websites to get a taste of some of the ways that student work can be presented. These websites were done with a focus on ICT and were done to provoke interest and to hook classroom teachers. The next step will be to roll out class and student e-portfolios. Building websites, glogs, movies and podcasts help students reflect on books they have read and quickly replace traditional reports. Blogging is also a great way to encourage students to reflect on their work and begin to make quality comments.

Design Tech Club--Coding Club and Minecraft Pilot Program
I initiated a Design Tech Club to give students a space to design and create with teacher support. We began by learning some of the basics of coding and the kids move at their own pace through project based learning that is guided by their own interest.
Whether it be Scratch, Tinker, Code Academy 2.0- together we can do it! As a programming advocate and a long time supporter of Black girls who Code I make sure all students have the opportunity to learn this important skill.
